My Why
My motivation to run for Bountiful City Council is simple. I have spent the last 30 years working in the financial services industry as a CPA and as a financial advisor. I have dedicated my career to helping individuals and companies achieve their financial goals. Now it is time for me to use my experiences to serve the citizens of Bountiful.
A Guiding Principle
A core principle that has shaped my professional and personal life is “live within your means”. This applies to individuals and governments. During my career, I have never met anyone who wanted to pay more taxes. This means government must operate as efficiently and effectively as possible to limit the tax burden on citizens. It is also important for governments (and businesses) to identify key areas where investment will be required to maintain the high level of service residents have come to expect and trust.

Throughout my career in the private sector as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), I have worked hard to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, communication and interpersonal abilities and a high commitment to ethical conduct. You can trust that the experience I have gained will be used to make a difference for you!
My Commitment
I will use my experience and skills with a singular focus on the things that matter most to you. This will include the basic services of government as well as prioritizing how taxpayer dollars can most effectively be used so that Bountiful can continue to be a great place to live!
